In her time away from the center, she stays very busy with her husband and four children in Wilton, IA. She enjoys running with her dogs, baking, gardening, camping, and watching all of her kids' sporting events. Her fur kids include 4 dogs—Beatrice, Otis, Mavis, and Izzy, and 3 cats—Dub, Lois, and Stanley. She was first introduced to fear-free concepts at a veterinary conference in 2016 and has since become one of the first veterinarians in the QCA to become fear-free certified.
